Fake Research Awards

Schon wieder ein paar Forschungspreise gewonnen

Nach "Predatory Publishing" und "Predatory Conferences" scheint das Verleihen wertloser Forschungspreise (Fake Research Award) eine neue Einnahmequelle für unseriöse Anbieter zu sein. Den Adressaten wird ein Forschungspreis angeboten. Diesen erhalten sie für irgendeine ihrer Publikationen verliehen.

Eine ausführliche Dokumentation und Analyse dieser Masche findet man auf der Webseite www.evscienceconsultant.com.

Hier Beispiele für E-Mails, die ich in den letzten zwei Monaten erhalten habe, nicht nur einmal, sondern mehrfach immer wieder der gleiche Text (Inhalt leicht gekürzt).
